My Relationship With Darkness 🌑

My relationship with darkness was once all I knew. Why does this heart feel so lonely? Why does it ache with yearning? I call out in the silence, “I need you!”

You, the light that first touched my soul, made me aware of what I had lost. Yet, I have returned to this darkness, drawn back like a moth to the flame. But here, in the shadows, I have found you, your presence is like the scent of a forgotten dream, and my heart beats with the echo of your touch. My voice, once silent, now comes alive with your name, offering you all that I am.

I am surrounded by the darkness of the world, but it is your light I crave. Come, show me the dawn we've dreamed of together. I am a wanderer, lost without you, searching for a love that burns as fiercely as my soul. Tell me you are my foundation, the soul I was meant to find in this lifetime. In you, I have found my rights, my peace. My prayers, my hopes, are fulfilled with you by my side. I am in you, and you are in me no boundaries, no walls, only the depth of our connection. There are no secrets between us; face to face, we stand, two hearts bound in an endless, sacred bond.

May your life be blessed with the warmth of my love, as mine is blessed by yours. And whenever you remember, I will return to you, like the wind returning to the ocean, bringing with it the promise of forever..
