My Relationship With Darkness 🌑

My relationship with darkness was once all I knew. Why does this heart feel so lonely? Why does it ache with yearning? I call out in the silence, “I need you!”

You, the light that first touched my soul, made me aware of what I had lost. Yet, I have returned to this darkness, drawn back like a moth to the flame.
